It was so funny today.  I was cleaning my craft room, and it came to pretty respectable condition when I saw these spring collection papers. and in no time my desk was a mess again.

anyways the result is very soothing and pleasant, so I dont mind the mess.

 
I used the handmade flowers, ( my mom made the crochet one).
I am entering this for citycrafter- use it up challenge.

Frosted design recycle challenge

 Hello crafters,
I am here with a simple recycled project that I made for my daughter to keep her cotton balls.

I  recycled a Tosoitos jar . then added a burlap layer to cover it. On it goes a kind of mesh that came with flowers on Valentines day. then added some bells ( from lots junk jewelry). Flower is handmade using old cloth strip . Little butterfly , heart and small beads are all collected over the years from my  girls broken bracelets.

I colored the lid and and secured the beads on the lid by making a hole in the lid, and fastening the nail and hot gluing it.

what a wonderderful day -- birthday card

Hello and Good Morning. 

I dreamed of this project last night and started making first thing in 

the morning after kids . Took me almost two and a half hrs to finish .

1. Started with gessoing my paper and then stencilled it with Tim Holtz clock stencil.
2. Then lightly covered the paper with Copper Deco art paint , followed by teal paint, which i dabbed here and there and then wiped the excess .
3. Stamped the project with prima stamp.
4. added some mesh tape to give some more dimensions.
5. I covered my gears with gesso and coloured them with copper and teal paint.
6. Have used recycled hinge ( took it out from an old broken box), old chain from a jeans tag, and some old safety pins.

I have used Kaiser craf die cuts which I recently received as Giveaway from scrapbook.com.

Its so difficult to make a card without flowers and othe feminine embellishments.

gift bag - quick photo tutorial

Hey
I am so excited to post my first photo tutorial.  I upcycled this solid blue gift bag.

 First I painted the bag with foam , dabbing to get some texture. Then added the chord to make twines.

 

then using a hard tooth brush, added some paint splatters in black , white and pink to give some more  dimensions.  Further added some more pink swirls using my pastels.    

                                                   Then added flowers, butterflies and leaves , punched lace , a thank you tag to finish the bag.

Love -- canvas art

hello All,
I struggled with this canvas  a lot. I started with blue and yellow but somehow finally got very green jungle effect. Then toned down the colors with gesso , did some doodling here and there, and some red splatter . I think finally it looked fine. Please give your honest opinions.
