CREATIVE BIG BLOG TOUR NOMINATION-- 25TH AUG

Hello creative friends,

Cant believe I  have been nominated as creative blogger by Caroleanne Wright -- http://theprettypaperpatisserie.blogspot.co.uk/.  She is very talented design team member with me on SOUS.
Her work is elegant and soft. Her blog is very interesting and informative as it always has little tutorials .

We are joining up as a chain of fun blog hop tours, where we will get to meet new bloggers, get new inspiration and connect with blogs that will open up our creativity.
This blog hop is sure to be a great inspiration.
I hope you hop along with us.

Here are my 4 questions that I need to answer before I pass along my nominations..
(I will then send you to 3 amazing artists you will love visiting!

1.  What am I working on?
Its Monday . I haven't started anything new yet , but just finished a card , that I made for my daughter.

This project is based on a weekly challenge on CSI. I have tried to give this little 3D look.

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
Hmmm. Cant say I have some unique style. I feel i am still in learning phase. But I like taking chances and try to incorporate different art forms in my work . Like this one is based on pop art by James Rizzi.

3. Why do i create what i do?
Hahahha. This all started with a desire to preserve the memories the best way possible and soon turned into a passion.

4. How does my creative process work?
Well, it depends a lot on the photograph. I color coordinate the papers with the colors in the pic. But if mood board demands very different colors, then I take black and white picture and work with it. I cannot overload my layout with embellies . Only the one relevant to the mood and pics goes on it.

I have introduced three fabulous designers here, each with a different approach, I do hope you find encouragement and creativity to inspire you from these lovely ladies.
MY BIG BLOG TOUR  CREATIVE BLOGGER NOMINEES ARE..

Nadine is very talented and creative fellow design team member with me on LGS.  love how she interprets all the sketches. There is lots of inspiration on her blog, with interesting tutorials. Her talents also lies in her technical capacities. She is an excellent blog designer too.

what can i say about this kind hearted, enthusiastic , creative person. An excellent sketch designer, Bev is part of so many design teams, and has been published in no. of magazines. You got to visit her blog for some serious inspiration.

I simply adore Patty's layouts. They are always soo bright, vibrant and full of life.i know her through CSI where both of us are regular participant and admire each others work.

This is my take on it.

Good afternoon.
I have been working on my dream project since yesterday. My layout is inspired by work of pop artist James Rizzi. http://www.james-rizzi.com/en/. He has done wonders with 3d drawings. I was introduced to his works by a fellow volunteer in my daughters school, almost 2 yrs back. Since then I wanted to make a layout based n his works. I have tried to incorporate various elements of his work especially birds. So here it is. Hope you will like it.
Recently in Amazon .com picnic. we all got our caricature done.So i took the photographs of the sketches and then fuzzy cut the photos. I used them for the heads and my daughter drew the body for the heads.
I entered this layout for csi-135 challenge.

This is my rough drawing for my layout.
All buildings are on foam sticks to give it litle 3d effect.

This project took almost 6 hrs to finish, as cutting all windows and pasting them was a big task.

Hope you will like it.
Thanks for visiting. do leave your comments. They are highly appreciated.
