 I feel these days as my health is falling apart, first the surgery , then severe back problem. Its only some crafting that helps to cheer up some mood.

Returning to basics today , I love making simple scrapbook layouts.
This one is based on mood board from scrapafrica.

Pics of my daughters where my elder one is showing her little sister her school notebook, which seems to interest her so much. Love these moments.

I made one and tried to make a mixed media canvas. Hope you will like it.

Halloween wreath- Creative Embellishment chippies

Hi all,
I missed my blog world for almost a week, after a very busy and unexpected week.
I underwent a surgery after severe pain in my stomach ( appendicitis) , and we hosted a wonderful student from Japan for a week. What a experience altogether.

Anyways, I am slowly trying to have a comeback, with this HAlloween wreath.

This was a fun project to make. I started by coloring the wreath with decoart acrylic orange color.

Made the house with black card stock. added a thick strip of cardboard at th back to strengthen it.

Used CW brick stencil and decort modelling paste to add texture to the house. And then sprayed some black decoart mist to soften the modelling paste whiteness.

MAde the light inside the house peeping through door with shades of orange. added some bats.

creativeembellishments halloween collection is fabulous and was totally apt for this project.

Added the trees at various depths and also added the cats and pumpkin chippies.

added the skeleton from the dollar store, he has gold teeth and silver necklace and age mentioned on his grave is 31 .

hi All,
Sharing this card made for a special guest from Japan. Our family is hosting a student from  International exchange program. we all are excited about it.

this card is made on water color paper using water colors, timholtz stamp, and creative embellishment chippies.

I have used lots of  creativeembellishments. chipboards, -- the lampshade, cycle, big clock hands.

Altered bird house- halloween

hey all 

with Halloween just a month away, we are preparing for it to scare the little ones.

Showing off my altered bird house today.You can see , instead of a raven, i have just colored the spring bird black. haaha

I have put little wood pieces below the cauldron and orange mesh to look like fire. rat running out , spiders , black net all added to make it more spooky.
