artastic challenge-- card

I turned 41 today. Voohoo
And treated myself by stitching a skirt for my daughter, and making this card.

With this i am entering in artasticchallengeblog

Linnie bloom- Canvas butterfly cards

Voww, I made 4 cards today, using linnieblooms canvas butterflies.

\Entering these two cards in  sassyscrappers March challenge.

 

Entering all pink card in frosteddesigns all pink challenge.

the process

1. gesso the butterfly
2. once dried, put blob of paint close to each other.
3. Fold the butterfly in half and spread the paint as to cove the whole butterfly.
4. you will get beautiful pattern of color. Then stamp it and apply some shimmer on the edges .
5. finally wrap the wire at the center giving nice pleats.
6. your butterfly is ready

 with this card I am entering in 13artspl and prima moobbiard challenge.

life is sweet

hello there,
i am back with lots of pinks and orange.

  the sketch is from cardabilities and color palette is from sassyscrappers

 For the butterflies, i mixed red , yellow and some white on a white textured paper and spread hem to mix it well..then i punched the butterflies out.

these feathers are handmade .my daughter drew them and colored them with color pencil.

also entering in mixedmediaworld anything goes challenge

celebrating   lulupu's 3rd birthday with this card too.

I have used 3 feathers, round shape, flowers, twine, bright red orange color, and sequins.
