Memories-- 1977

Hey Friends,

This pic of my family taken way back in 1977, when i was just 3 years old. I am the one with doll in her hand.

s layout is based on the sketch from http://sketchabilities.blogspot.com/

The color scheme is from 13artspl.blogspot. I have used teal , blue and green color, Its a great mood board with tonnes of inspiration . I have used bubble stencil , bird nest and gold paint and feathers , all inspired by the moodboard.

mixedmediamc has always been great inspiration for my work. i have used feathers, r in the bird, bird cage .

Process
I started by modpodging printed tissue paper on white card stock for some texture and print.
After drying ,applied gesso and then applied some acrylic paint.
put some lace, flowers and feathers for embellishing the layout.
My daughter made the feather for me , using her pencil colors, leaves and butterflies are handmade by me.

Hi I am back with a very simple layout based on kraftplus.

Pic of my daughters taken in the year 2006 , dressed up in traditional dress on the occasion of a festival.


 my journalling is inspired by A Littlhanks for stopping by.e Bit of Mambo album by Lou Bega released in 1999.

This pic  of my brother, sister and me is soo precious to me. Taken almost 35 years back in a studio, it brings back so many memories.
sorry i have to remove the pic of my layout as it out for publication.

The layout is based on offtherailsscrapbooking sketch and color pallette.


I have rotated the sketch by 90 deg anticlockwise.

                            2.mixedmediamc birds of a feather challenge.  I have used bird nest with 3 eggs , signifying me , my brother and sister. we are actually birds of a feather. Me and my sister ,laugh , sleep and talk similarly. we even have same medical problems;)

sweet moments

hello and good morning,

I made this layout based on scrapafrica sketch.  Thank you for the inspiration.
here is my take on it.these are pics of my niece and her hubby on Sequim beach. It was full of drift woods and sea weeds. the view was awesome and probably somebody made this little swing there.

I have used K & company die cuts , creative embellishments - cipboard, Tim Holz stencil.

Also entering the layout in mixedmediamc. In this project, the birds seems to be singing the love song for this newly wed pair.

linnie blooms- book mark 2

 Hello and  Happy Sunday

  I recently joined linnieblooms design team and  thoroughly enjoying working on their  canvas book marks.

1. First step is to gesso the canvas and dry   it.
2. the  applied some deco art paint lightly, spraying little water to spread . I used 3 different shades of blue .
3. Then I stencilled the project with little bird stencil that i bought in India.
4. Then added some prima stamps and the quote.
5. I stitched the project again as existing sti tches were not visible because of paints used.
6. I finally sealed the project with mod podge  to give it some gloss.
